Hours of Work and Pattern
30 – 37.5 Hours per week

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about all aspects of accountancy working within an established and successful firm with a reputation for quality. In addition to excellent English, a Polish speaker would be an advantage. You will need to be committed to developing yourself and the business, have a keen eye for detail and a professional demeanour. Ideally you will already have some knowledge of SAGE/online bookkeeping packages such as Xero and Quickbooks Online and certainly of Excel. Initially focussed on undertaking basic accounting, bookkeeping and payroll work and liaising with Polish clients and prospects to support the existing team.

Perform basic payroll, bookkeeping, accounting & tax functions to support the accountancy team
Liaise with clients via telephone and e-mail
Focus on the requirements of the Polish client base, eventually managing your own client portfolio
Utilise online bookkeeping (primarily Xero and Quickbooks Online), SAGE and Excel
Explore and identify areas for new business development

Entry requirements for the AAT are 5 GCSE’s A*-C or equivalent (to include English & Maths)
A bilingual applicant fluent in Polish and English would be preferred.
SAGE experience is desirable but not essential
Some Excel experience essential

Able to maintain a high level of accuracy
Confident working with numbers and presenting information in a concise manner
Strong analytical and research skills
Strong communicator including a confident telephone manner
Enthusiastic approach to learning and developing in the role
